It would be appropriate to start the story of Det Gamle Apotek with a "once upon a time", because that's how every adventure starts. This story even started as a Christmas fairy tale.
We have to go back to 1989, which is the year Erik Tygesen founded Det Gamle Apotek. The foundation was his passion for old buildings and furniture, which was combined with his fondness for Christmas and nostalgia.
